- Fully frame mounted. Our KTM 790/890 Adventure heavy-duty skid plate rests on the frame and not the engine.
- Large ventilation cutouts for improved engine cooling.
- Centre stand compatible. Our skid plate is 100% compatible with our centre stand and KTM OEM centre stand.
- We offer the only solution on the market to support the KTM 790/890 Adventure skid plate in its FULL length thanks to support tubing.
- Extended protection for the catalytic converter.
- Fully recessed mounting bolts on the bottom. In other words, there aren’t any bolts sticking out on the bottom of the skid plate to get caught or shear off.
Compatible with all KTM 790/890 Adventure models and years.

La société Outback Motortek a conçu un porte-bagages arrière destiné à la KTM 790 / 890 / 1090 / 1190 / 1290 Adventure R / S, qui ne se contente pas d’être beau, mais qui a aussi le mérité d’être fonctionnel. Nous y avons ajouté des orifices d’un diamètre suffisamment grand pour recevoir techniquement tout type de sangle d’amarrage ou de tendeur en caoutchouc pour vous permettre de bien y attacher un sac, une tente, etc.
Son atout majeur consiste dans ses trous découpés au laser destinés à pouvoir y fixer directement les jerricans RotoPax pour carburant ou eau potable sans avoir à y apporter la moindre modification. So far, it fits well and I really like the look of it. Not having the extra crash bars looks cleaner and has less weight as well. I haven’t had the chance to ride because its winter so I can’t comment on its strength etc.
