Features
- Protects crucial areas of the engine such as catalytic converter, exhaust pipe and oil pan.
- 5mm thick laser cut aluminum – Nothing is ever an overkill on an adventure bike, hence we choose to build our bash plates from this ridiculously tough and thick, yet lightweight material.
- Tough mounting hardware – No cutting corners here (either)! Precision laser cut pieces for perfect fitment using 5mm thick metal mounts. These parts absorb a lot of impacts from riding through (off-road) hell, rather than your bikes chassis or engine that are worth thousands of dollars.
- Sandblasted to achieve the best possible adhesion of the coatings – it’s an extremely vital part of our manufacturing process. Sandblasted surfaces will withstand most surface scratches and give you a longer-lasting product.
- Powder coated – combined with sandblasting it’s a killer combination to protect your product’s surface. No frills and tough just like your ADV/Dual Sport bike!
Compatibility:
Skid Plate: Compatible with Outback Motortek lower crash bars only. This product is model specific, thus we supply skid plate marked accordingly. Compatible with 2019-2022 BMW R1250GS and BMW R1250GSA.
Outback Motortek lower crash bars must be installed in order to install the skid plate. Also compatible with original BMW centre stand.

The Adventure Moto/Outback Motortek X-Frames for the BMW R1250GS / GSA are the most universal and functional side pannier frames yet, allowing simple, secure mounting of Rotopax, hard panniers and soft luggage.
We also offer standard pannier racks. The difference between our standard pannier racks and the X-Frames is that the standard frames don't feature RotoPax mounts and tabs welded on all four corners.

This combo package includes a set of sturdy crash bars, which features four mountings points on each side. Our skid plate offers protection for parts of the exhaust system as well as the oil pan.
