Just received and installed my skid plate on my CRF300 Rally.
Fabricated plate appears to be well made. Fit and function are excellent. Much better than the factory installed part.
Just one thing to add to the video install instructions. The video omits the removal of the factory skid plate. 4 10mm bolts.
My skid plate did come with some cosmetic damage, I assume from packing. It appears that the fwd mounting bracket scuffed a bunch of the paint off the fwd outer surface of the skid plate. But it’s a dirt bike after all!
Also the 3 grommets that were supplied are poorly made and had no nub to hold them in place as you see on the video. I glued mine in with PL glue.
Overall I think this skid plate is a vast improvement on the original and will provide we with much needed confidence off road.
