Full set of Crash Bars and Skid Plate for the Ducati DesertX gives it the protection it requires in case of any upset on the tarmac and also when you decide to leave it to further explore. Have fun on your bike, knowing that all the sensitive parts of your bike are much safer. Any possible damage to the whole front of the bike (fairings, tank, engine parts, suspension and even headlights, turn signals and radiator) will be considerably minimised.

We have also developed a Water Pump Guard and a Headlight Guard which can (and should) be purchased as well!

Upper Crash Bars

Quality build – 25mm steel tube with 2mm wall thickness.
Less is often more – We’ve utilised the strongest crash bars’ mounting points while keeping the structure compact for overall strength.
Hybrid solution – Frame and lower crash bars mounted.
Powder coated – combined with sandblasting it’s a killer combination to protect your product’s surface.

Crash Bars

25mm diameter steel tubing with 2mm wall thickness.
Fully frame mounted. Our Ducati DesertX crash bars rest on the frame and not the engine, thanks to a special support bracket created for the effect.
Designed to handle continuous impact from drops and small crashes.
Centre stand compatible. Our crash bars are 100% compatible with our centre stand.
Potential base for fog/aux lights. See photo gallery for example (lights and light bracket are not included in the sale).
The strongest support. We offer the only solution on the market to support the Ducati DesertX crash bars and skid plate in its FULL length, thanks to a specifically designed bracket.

Skid Plate

Protects crucial areas of the engine – oil pan, oil cooler, oil filter and exhaust header! That’s a long list of very important parts to expose to any sort of damage that will reduce your bikes performance in no time.
Uniquely designed vent system – No unnecessary holes were designed on this bash plate. As a result, your engine will less likely to overheat when mud and all sorts of debris from offroading fly at the engine and get stuck between the skid plate and the engine/exhaust header.
Shaped to deflect – Thanks to its shape, the DesertX skid plate can deflect trailside objects such as rocks, stumps, logs etc.
4mm thick laser cut aluminum – Nothing is ever an overkill on such an adventure bike, hence we choose to build our skid plates from this tough and thick, yet lightweight material.
Powder coated – combined with sandblasting, it’s a killer combination to protect your product’s surface. Keep it shiny and new, just like your new Ducati!
